The PM25 laser control desk is designed for small scale laser installations normally with a DPSS laser ( sometimes referred as a diode YAG or frequency doubled YAG) which are becoming very popular as the cost decreases. As the desk can be configured with a number of different systems it is important that all local health and safety regulations are complied with by the complete system. The PM25 can be supplied with one or two scanning engine PCB’s installed allowing for complete control over two separate scanning heads. A controller can easily be upgraded in the field to a twin output system. The PM25 can hold a maximum of 512 images. These are made up from the font used by the scrolling text, patterns, single images and animations. A convert program is available to take ILDA files and compress them to the internal format. At the time of order the customer can supply the images to be installed in the controller. The default font and patterns can be used, all images and animations supplied should have the copyright arranged by the customer. The Images can be updated by a serial connection internal to the controller using any communications program that supports Xmodem protocol.
